Plenty of new things

This week my mother opened a flower shop. One day she came to me with a burst of positive energy, claiming that she had found "The" thing she wanted to do; own and run a flower shop. The past year she has studied flowers, gardening and all the fancy shop management stuff. Now that her burst of passion has come to bear fruit I felt compelled to find my own standpoint for her new-found world.

Ikebana came to me- well at least in my opinion, as a funny twist of fate. In my own personal world I hold philosophy as very dear and important. At an ongoing course of the given subject I was given an assignment that had to relate to eastern philosophy. The list that was handed out to everyone in class had many intriguing subjects, but Ikebana, combination of eastern philosophy and gardening, stood out immediately. It was part of the assignment to make a blog about it, so here we are.

As I know little to nothing relevant about gardening, not to mention about Ikebana in particular AND this is my first time making a blog, there will be plenty of inconsistencies regarding the subject and my blogging.

So please bear with me and I wish that what I have wrote here might amuse, please or even help some of you that happen to stumble here.
